HEALTHY HOMEMADE RANCH DRESSING - VEGAN & DAIRY OPTION





This ranch dressing is not only extremely easy to make, but it is also very versatile. We used this dressing on these Buffalo Chicken Smash Tacos and Nashville Hot Meatball Sub Sandwich, both with a refreshing, crunchy cabbage ranch slaw.


Whether you make the vegan version, the Greek-yogurt version or another yogurt variety, this ranch works great on salads, as a dip for veggies, chicken wings, pizza and more.



Healthy Homemade Ranch Dressing


1 cup yogurt of choice (We used full fat Greek yogurt and unsweetened plain cashew yogurt, both work great)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried dill

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp fresh chives

½ tsp salt and pepper, more to taste

Juice of ½ lemon

Water to thin, optional


In a bowl, combine the yogurt, garlic, onion, dill, parsley, chives, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well to combine. Taste test to see if you want to add more salt or pepper to taste. Adjust consistency with water if desired. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
